Castlegar’s annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser is taking place on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 809 Merrycreek Road (United Church) from 4:00 PM–8:00 PM. This family-friendly 2 km and 5 km walk brings our community together in solidarity to raise funds for local charities supporting people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness right here in Castlegar. Every dollar raised stays in the community to make a meaningful impact. Whether you walk, donate, volunteer, or sponsor a team, your participation helps shine a light of compassion during the coldest part of the year.
