Repairs will be limited to 1 item per person, and will be fixed on a first come, first served basis. Gear must be clean. We are not able to perform major repairs, including seam sealing entire garments or full zipper replacements. If you require a major repair, our gear technicians can provide a quote and ship the gear back to you for a fee.
3D SCANNING OF HARDGOODS
Selkirk Innovates is proudly supporting the KORE ReHub through a feasibility study of hardgoods gear repair. This includes on-site scanning of broken hardgoods, like ski boots, as well as design and prototyping later at the Selkirk Technology Access Centre (STAC).
This is funded in part by the MITACS Program for interns from Selkirk College’s Digital Fabrication and Design Program to engage students with research and understand the potential business opportunities for outdoor gear repair in the Kootenays.
