Local forests like Cai Creek — rich in biodiversity, cultural significance, and tourism value — are disappearing across the province. These places lie at the heart of our communities, and it’s up to us to defend our home. Yet, the government’s decision to log Cai Creek is a clear example of why we urgently need the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health Law. Join us on this hike to learn more about the law and show your support.

This walk will be happening June 21st from 10am-3pm. It will be led by Matt Casselman, a local biologist who knows the area better than most and has been devoting his energy and time trying to save this area from logging through his “Save Cai Creek” campaign.
